Uzbekistan Secures Azerbaijan Showroom Space for Building Materials

Uzbekistan's construction materials industry association has secured an agreement with Azerbaijan's Turkish Trade Centre (Türk Ticaret Merkezi) to provide dedicated retail and showroom space for Uzbek manufacturers — a concrete step toward establishing a commercial foothold in the Azerbaijani market.

The deal was reached on June 10, 2026, during negotiations in Baku between representatives of the Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari Association and Türk Ticaret Merkezi board chairman Yılmaz Okuklu. Talks focused on expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, with particular emphasis on the construction materials manufacturing sector and direct business-to-business engagement.

Beyond the showroom arrangement, the parties discussed mechanisms for bringing Uzbek industrial output to Azerbaijani buyers more broadly, and agreed to organize structured B2B meetings designed to identify new cooperation opportunities and deepen commercial ties between entrepreneurs from both countries.
