Syrdarya Region Takes Part in Uzbekistan–China Cooperation Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The third Uzbekistan–China Interregional Cooperation Forum is taking place in the Chinese city of Xi’an, with the participation of Syrdarya region governor Erkinjon Turdimov, according to post-event reports.

The forum is aimed at expanding trade and economic ties between the regions of the two countries and discussing prospects for launching joint projects in industry, agriculture, logistics, innovation, and investment.

Within the framework of the event, participants are being presented with the economic potential of Syrdarya region, as well as conditions created for investors and a range of prospective projects proposed for implementation in the region.

Special attention is being paid to reaching concrete agreements with Chinese partners, forming new investment projects, and creating additional jobs in Syrdarya region.
