Uzbekistan Gains Access to UAE Livestock Market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Climate Change and Environment has officially approved five types of veterinary and sanitary certificates agreed with Uzbekistan, enabling exports of livestock products to the UAE market.

Under the agreement, Uzbekistan has been granted permission to supply incubation eggs, day-old chicks, table eggs, as well as poultry and rabbit meat to the United Arab Emirates. The approved documentation covers the full list of these products.

The move provides formal market access for Uzbek livestock products in the UAE and is expected to expand bilateral trade and increase turnover between the two countries in the agricultural sector.

Officials said the veterinary and sanitary certificate confirms that products comply with the importing country’s requirements.

The availability of an approved certificate format is a mandatory condition for customs clearance of shipments to the United Arab Emirates.
