Uzbekistan and Singapore Discuss Expanding Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, Saidov said following the talks.

According to Saidov, the discussions took place in a warm and substantive atmosphere. The two sides reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral economic relations and exchanged views on cooperation at regional and global levels.

During the call, the agenda for upcoming joint events aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the two countries was also agreed.

Both sides confirmed the readiness of their respective ministries to maintain close cooperation in order to expand friendly and multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Singapore, including the development of practical collaboration across various sectors.
