Wild Jackal Attacks Four Residents in Uzbekistan's Syrdarya Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A wild jackal attacked four residents near a field outside the Ishonch mahalla in Gulistan district on June 9, before a quick-acting local subdued the animal and neutralized the threat.

The incident occurred at approximately 17:30 local time, according to the Syrdarya Oblast Hokimiyat press service. All four victims received prompt medical assistance and are currently under medical observation, with their condition assessed as satisfactory.

Authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
