Uzbekistan President Arrives in Azerbaijan for Working Visit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Baku on a working visit at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

At Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the capital, the head of state was received by Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli and other official representatives of the host country.

The main program of the visit is scheduled for May 18. On this day, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in events of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, including the Leaders’ Summit held under the auspices of the United Nations.
