Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan held talks with representatives of UAE-based AD Ports Group in Tashkent on 19 May to discuss expanding cooperation in transport, logistics, and infrastructure development.

The negotiations were led by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, and focused on prospects for joint projects in port and warehouse infrastructure, modernization of transport and logistics systems, and expansion of the potential of free economic zones in Uzbekistan.

The parties also reviewed opportunities for implementing investment projects involving the Emirati company.

Particular attention was given to applying AD Ports Group’s international experience in managing logistics assets and developing modern transport infrastructure. The sides emphasized the importance of utilizing the company’s expertise gained through the management of major commercial ports and logistics systems worldwide.

Following the meeting, both parties confirmed their mutual interest in accelerating the practical implementation of joint initiatives. They agreed to continue detailed discussions on the projects with a view to signing relevant agreements during the fourth Tashkent International Investment Forum.

AD Ports Group is a major Emirati holding company managing ports, free economic zones, and logistics services.

In 2025, the company reported net profit of US$564 million, while the value of assets under management reached US$18.9 billion, reflecting its significant international scale and experience in global logistics.
