Uzbekistan Appoints New Deputy Investment Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has made a personnel change in its economic bloc, approving the appointment of Ibrokhim Ergashev as Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade.

The appointment was confirmed by a presidential decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The document states that Ergashev has been named Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to his new role, Ergashev served as Director of the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection under the Ministry of Agriculture.
