Uzbek Delegation Visits Syria’s Kaadan Cables Plant
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An Uzbek delegation, during a visit to Syria, toured the Kaadan Cables enterprise, one of the country’s largest cable manufacturers.
The company processes around 150 tons of copper raw materials per month and produces approximately 20 types of finished cable and industrial products.
Members of the Uzbek delegation familiarized themselves with the company’s production facilities, technologies used, and export-oriented products.
Kaadan Cables was founded in 1993 and specializes in the production of electrical cables and industrial wires. The enterprise employs more than 400 staff, and its products are supplied both to the domestic Syrian market and exported to countries in the Middle East.
During the talks, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the electrical engineering sector, supply of cable products, expansion of industrial cooperation, and implementation of joint projects.
