Rally Muynak 2026 Boosts Tourism Development in Karakalpakstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The open Uzbekistan Rally Championship “Rally Muynak – 2026” is being held from 21 to 24 May 2026 in the Muynak district of Karakalpakstan, aiming to develop the tourism sector and promote sports tourism in the region.

The competition is organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the “Vatanparvar” organization, together with the Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The main objectives of the event include the development of tourism and increasing tourist flows, promoting sports and festival tourism, developing motorsports, attracting young people to technical and applied sports, and supporting service enterprises in the district’s tourism sector.

Athletes from various regions of the country and abroad are participating in the championship. The competition is held in several categories, including automobile classes “A-8” (up to 1600 cc) and “A-9” (up to 2000 cc), as well as the “Buggy” category and motorcycle races with engine capacities up to 125 cc and up to 500 cc.

In total, more than 120 athletes, over 40 cars, more than 25 motorcycles and more than 15 buggies are taking part in the competition.

The event continues over three days and has attracted significant interest from audiences in Uzbekistan and abroad. Winners, as well as coaches and referees, were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts at the end of the championship.
