Parkent District Participates in China Interregional Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Parkent district of Uzbekistan participated in the third Uzbekistan–China interregional cooperation forum held in the city of Xinxiang, China.

The delegation included Head of the regional hokimiyat secretariat Izzat Bakirov, Parkent district governor Elmurod Pulatov, and responsible officials. Participation in the forum was aimed at developing interregional cooperation and expanding ties with Chinese partners.

The forum was considered important for strengthening trade, economic, investment, industrial, tourism and agricultural relations between regions of the two countries.

Within the framework of the event, meetings were held with foreign investors and representatives of major companies. The participants discussed prospects for implementing projects in Parkent district, attracting investment and expanding mutually beneficial partnerships.

Issues of experience exchange between regions, introduction of modern technologies and implementation of joint projects were also discussed.

Following the meetings, agreements were expected to be reached aimed at further developing cooperation.
