Logistics of the Future Conference Held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An international industry conference titled “Logistics of the Future” was held in Tashkent on 14 May 2026, focusing on the development of warehousing and transport logistics in Uzbekistan and across Central Asia.
The event brought together more than 150 market participants, including developers, logistics operators, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and companies from the e-commerce sector.
Organizers said the “Logistics of the Future” conference has been held for more than 16 years and covers over 30 cities across Russia and CIS countries. In Uzbekistan, the event took place for the eighth time, reflecting sustained business interest in the region and the growing potential of its logistics sector.
The main focus of the business program was on practical aspects of industry development. Participants discussed the current state and future prospects of the logistics market in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, the introduction of automation and robotics in warehouse complexes, the development of warehouse management systems (WMS), digitalization of logistics processes, as well as the formation of cold chain systems and infrastructure development.
Among the participants and speakers were representatives of international and regional companies, including Comitas, Solos, Randmates SK, NF Group, Relog, DSM Logistics, and Logic-Q, who presented practical case studies and industry analysis.
A separate part of the program was dedicated to the role of Central Asia as one of the fastest-growing logistics markets. Participants noted increasing demand for modern warehouse space, growing interest in technological upgrades, and the rising importance of logistics as a key factor in business competitiveness.
Within the conference, site visits were also organized to the ELKABSAVDO and Nwl Operations warehouse facilities, where participants observed practical examples of modern logistics solutions and warehouse management technologies in operation.
Organizers said that in 2026, the “Logistics of the Future” project plans to hold 10 conferences across Russia and CIS countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Belarus.
