IT Park Ventures Expands Fund to US$30 Million
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — IT Park Ventures announced an increase in its fund size from US$10 million to US$30 million during the international event Global Tech Weekend Tashkent 2026 held in Uzbekistan.
The decision is aimed at expanding investment activity and further developing the country’s startup ecosystem.
At the time of the announcement, more than 80% of the fund’s previous capital had already been invested in technology startups and initiatives focused on developing the venture capital market. The additional financing will allow IT Park Ventures to expand its investment portfolio, increase the number of deals, and strengthen support for companies at growth stages.
Beginning in 2026, the fund plans to shift its focus toward early-growth projects, primarily Seed and Series A startups.
Priority will be given to scalable technology companies with the potential for international expansion and sustainable growth.
As part of its updated strategy, IT Park Ventures is also expanding its investment parameters by considering deals with investment tickets of up to US$3 million. This is expected to enable the fund to participate in more mature financing rounds and support companies during active scaling phases.
The development of Uzbekistan’s venture ecosystem is also being supported through government initiatives aimed at significantly expanding the startup sector. By 2030, the country plans to increase the number of startup projects to 5,000, attract up to US$2 billion in venture investments, and create at least 25 startups valued at more than US$100 million.
As part of these plans, a four-stage startup support model is also being introduced, covering the full cycle from idea generation and product development to scaling and entry into international markets.
In addition, IT Park Ventures continues accepting applications for its PITCH TO INVEST: OPEN DAY program, which will conclude on 20 May.
The format предусматривает closed pitch sessions for Seed and Series A startups, during which founders can present their projects to the fund’s investment team and gain an opportunity for further financing.
