Issues regarding the further development of Mobiuz's operations discussed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A field meeting of the Supervisory Board of Mobiuz was held at the company's central office under the chairmanship of the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov.
The event was dedicated to reviewing the mobile operator's performance for 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, as well as discussing strategic projects and work plans.
It was noted that the network coverage has significantly expanded, with new base stations being put into operation in regions, including remote and rural areas.
Special attention was given to the large-scale modernization of networks in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, as well as the launch of the 5G network in the Fergana Valley. These projects are aimed at expanding coverage, increasing data transfer speeds, and implementing new technological solutions.
The Minister was shown modern packet switching devices that ensure high-speed and stable data transmission in accordance with the requirements of fifth-generation networks. Mobiuz experts provided detailed information on the capabilities of this technology, including traffic routing optimization, increased connection reliability, and reduced latency in data transmission.
One of the priority topics discussed was Mobiuz’s transformation from a traditional telecommunications operator to a digital operator, offering a comprehensive ecosystem of digital solutions.
During the event, a tour of the Huawei brand zone, located at the central office of Mobiuz, was also conducted. The Minister familiarized himself with the presented mobile devices and digital accessories. It was noted that under the cooperation between Mobiuz and Huawei, users are offered installment plans, official warranty service, a wide selection of smartphones, and special conditions for connection to the "Xotirjam" tariff line.
Following the meeting, the Minister issued a series of instructions related to improving the quality of communication and internet services, introducing new digital products and services, and expanding the mobile operator's activities until 2030.
