Saker falcons released to wild nature in Tashkent region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Saker falcons, which are included to the Red Book, were released to wild nature in Tashkent on 25 March 2017, the State Nature Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The ecologic campaign was organized by the State Nature Committee of Uzbekistan and Tugan Falcornry Club.
About 19 saker falcons were released to nature, the Uzbek State Nature Committee underlined.
Saker falcons were seized from the poacher in August 2016 and handed over to State Bio Control. After examining birds, the falcons were handed to Tugan Falconry Club for rehabilitation.
Uzbekistan Science Academy and Scientific Body CITIES in Uzbekistan adopted a decision to release the birds to the nature.
