Testing solar power station launched in Namangan region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A testing solar power station with the capacity of 130 kilowatt was commissioned in Pap district of Namangan region of Uzbekistan, the press service of Uzbekenergo said.
The station was constructed within implementation of the memorandum of understanding between Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea and Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan.
Uzbekenergo and Korea Association of Photoelectric Industry participated in the construction of the solar power station in Namangan region.
Equipment of Hanhwa, JSPV, S-Energy and TopSum were used in construction of the testing solar power station.
Uzbekenergo said that launch of the station will allow to improve electricity supply of Kandigon neighborhood and receive data to implement wide-scale projects on construction of solar power stations in Uzbekistan, as well as test Korean equipment and learn Korean experience in this area.
