The company said that the specialists of the system paid a visit to Uzbekistan on 2-6 March 2011. It added the system signed agreement with Asaka Bank, which will help to increase number of points by 130.

Asaka Bank is one of largest banks of Uzbekistan and it holds special position in money transfer market of Uzbekistan.

Zolotaya Korona – Money Transfers also signed agreements on cooperation with some other Uzbek largest banks – Agrobank (190 points), Narodniy Bank (185 points) and Uzpromstroybank (80 points).

The system said that the accession of new banks to the system allowed to increase number of service points in Uzbekistan to 1,100.

As earlier reported, the volume of money transfers between Uzbekistan and Russia via Zolotaya Korona – Money Transfers system made up over US$850 million in 2010.
