Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, the State Committee for Tourism Development, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan organized the Uzbekistan Youth Day in Berlin, with the participation of more than 100 representatives of Uzbek youth from different regions of Germany.
The organizers of the event, congratulating those present on the occasion of Navruz, informed about the ongoing work in Uzbekistan with compatriots, projects of the State Committee on Tourism, in which Uzbek diasporas are involved, and also called on young compatriots to take a more active part in attracting tourists from Germany to Uzbekistan, the press service of the State Committee on Tourism reports. Handouts were presented to representatives of the Uzbek diaspora for further dissemination of information on the tourist potential of Uzbekistan. In addition, an agreement was reached on cooperation with compatriots in Germany to actively promote the tourism potential of our country, as well as interaction mechanisms were discussed.
At the meeting, compatriots put forward a number of proposals for the development of tourism, in particular the need to increase the diversity of handouts to promote the tourist potential of Uzbekistan, improve transport logistics, increase the number of hotels.
The event also included a tasting of national dishes for Navruz, such as sumalak, kuk samsa, pilaf and others, and musical performances by artists from Uzbekistan created a festive atmosphere.
