Younger brother of Abdulkadir Khusanov trains at the Lens Academy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdurakhim Khusanov, the younger brother of Uzbekistan national football team player Abdulkadir Khusanov, is training at the academy of French club Lens. This was reported by Talibjon Kasimov, a journalist with Championat.asia.

According to Kasimov, an agreement was reached between the agents of Abdulkadir Khusanov and the management of Lens regarding the development of cooperation.

As part of the agreement, promising Uzbek footballers will be sent to the French club’s academy. Abdurakhim Khusanov has become the first participant in this program.

The young forward is expected to spend some time at the academy, honing his skills under the guidance of experienced coaches.

This collaboration opens up new opportunities for Uzbek footballers, as working with a European club like Lens helps to develop their talent and raise the level of football in Uzbekistan.

Successful completion of training at the Lens academy could be an important step in Abdurakhim Khusanov’s professional career, as well as for other talented players from Uzbekistan. It is still unclear how much time Abdurakhim will spend at the academy.

It is worth noting that his older brother, Abdulkadir Khusanov, is a defender for Lens and may transfer to Manchester City. The clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of €40 million, which could increase to €50 million with bonuses.
