The press service of the club said that Neftchi considered several candidates to the post and decided to appoint Yevgeniy Shohin as the coach of the club.

Chairperson of Neftchi Komiljon Mirzaboev said that Yevgeniy Shohin will work at the club till the end of the season and based on the results of the club, the decision on prolongation of contract with the coach.

Shamil Iseev, Sergey Kovshov and Vyacheslav Tomoli will help Shohin in his work.

Yuriy Sarkisyan resigned from his post as head coach after he worked at the club for last 26 years.
