Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 24 to 26 November, the World Halal Summit 2022 is being held at the Istanbul Exhibition Center (IFM), and a Halal food competition is being held as part of the Summit.
The team of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan won the next prizes.
- Tuychikhodjaev Abu Hurayra - 2 silver (second place) in the nominations "Modern Cuisine - Meat Dishes" and "Fish Dishes";
- Mirbabaev Elerbek - the second place (silver) in the nomination "Modern cuisine - meat dishes";
- Ibragimov Shohrujon - third place (bronze) in the nomination "Fish Dishes".
The event is held under the auspices of the President of Turkey, the Islamic Trade Development Center (ICDT) and the Institute of Standardization and Metrology of Islamic Countries (SMIIC), as well as with the support of the Islamic Culinary Platform WICS. The event is traditionally attended by representatives of government agencies, businesses, scientists, experts, and catering specialists.
The summit events will be attended by delegates and guests from 80 countries. Also, simultaneously with the Summit, the Halal Expo 2022 exhibition is being held, where guests, among other things, will be able to get acquainted with the latest technologies and trends in the catering market.
The main factors of the Summit are the popularization of the culinary skills of high professional cuisine according to the Halal criteria, the development of the hotel and restaurant business, and the development of pilgrimage tourism.
The summit is intended to facilitate the exchange of work experience, the identification of promising areas for the development of culinary development according to the Halal criteria, the improvement of professional skills, the exchange of experience among specialists around the world, the identification of current trends in the halal sector, as well as the identification of new directions in the halal market.
