This work is directed at effective implementation and support of the project on improving energy efficiency of industrial enterprises, preparation of ground for future investments in energy efficiency in industrial sectors.

The World Bank is cooperating with international specialized consulting company Econoler to develop the strategy. In this connection, the World Bank mission arrived in Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The mission is led by Iskander Buranov, specialist on energy. The mission includes Jalel Chabchub, Jaclyn Ligo and Bakhodir Jabborov, consultants of Econoler.

The goals of the mission is to provide results of researches of industrial enterprises, developed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, study legal bases and technical regulations in energy efficiency, and presentation of methodology on development of the strategy of energy efficiency for industrial enterprises.
