Works, made from coffee and pen, of Assad Gadjiev presented in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A personal exhibition “Fetish” of the painter Assad Gadjiev opened at the Center for National Art of Uzbekistan in Tashkent on 4 September 2013.

The exhibition presented 50 works of the Uzbek painter, who uses coffee and pen, as well as cotton paper in his work.

Fund Forum, “IJOD” Association of artists, art critics and craftsmen of Uzbekistan and Center for National Art organized the exhibition, which will be held till 19 September 2013.

Before the exhibition nobody heard about works of Assad Gadjiev as this is his first personal exhibition. The exhibition presents 50 works of the painter, made in 2011, when he just started to paint.

Assad Gadjiev said that he has now special painting technique. He said that he pours coffee to paper and draw the painting. The paintings reflects internal world of person, he said.

Assad Gadjiev has been born in 1974. He did not receive special education, but continued his development on his own. Famous brand Ikea invited him to work as painter-designer. Several years, he lived in Spain. In 2005-2007, he created several new projects on design of furniture and interior accessories for Ikea.

In 2011, Assad Gadjiev fully reviewed his life and values and he started to pay special attention to his creative work. For last two years, Gadjiev is creating his works with pen, coffee and cotton paper.
