Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential resolution "On measures to further develop the Uzbek national art of maqom and support the activities of representatives of the sphere" was adopted, Norma reports.

From 1 October 2023, the updated monthly salaries of managerial, scientific and creative workers of the Center for Uzbek National Art Maqom and its territorial branches are introduced.

The procedure for determining allowances at the expense of a separate treasury personal account of the Center is being introduced. At the same time, allowances are determined on the basis of the results achieved in the activities of the Center's employees in the following areas:

participation in touring concert and entertainment events in the regions of the republic and foreign countries;

creation of works in the genre of maqom in the direction of classical music and transcribing them into notes;

improvement of maqom and works created by bastakors;

maqom propaganda in an impeccable and perfect execution through the media and social networks;

publishing scientific articles, conducting research, publishing books and collections on the classical musical heritage;

modern interpretation of maqom and works created by bastakors in the karaoke genre;

continuation of the traditions of "ustoz - shogird", other directions for the development of the art of maqom.

The document approved plans for the organization in 2023-2025:

local tours of maqom ensembles of the Center of Uzbek national art maqom and its territorial branches ;

tours of maqom ensembles of the Center for Uzbek national art maqom and its territorial branches at enterprises and organizations;

foreign tours of maqom ensembles of the Center for Uzbek national art maqom and its territorial branches.
