Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Women’s Sport Week will be held in all regions of the country from 8 to 13 October.

The week, organized by the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, will be held in all city (district) streets, avenues, parks, educational institutions, stadiums and gyms of the country.

As part of the Week, women will be able to take part in sports events in football, basketball, volleyball, cycling, table tennis, badminton, chess, drafts and gymnastics.

Major sports events in the capital will be held at the National Stadium (formerly Bunyodkor). Everyone will have the opportunity to use the gyms, sports equipment of the stadium.

The main goal of the Week is the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among women, strengthening their health.
