Woman driver kills a teenager, injuries several

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 June 2019, a 42-year old woman driver on her Nexia 3 car hit three teenagers in Yunusabad distict of Tashkent city.

One of the teenager died on the spot. Two teenagers were hospitalized. Doctors evaluate condition of one of the victims as stable. The third boy was examined on an outpatient basis, after which he was allowed to go home.

The driver did not disappear from the scene, the woman was on the spot and provided active assistance in carrying out investigative measures. In her words, she mixed up the gas and brake pedals.

The criminal case was opened. Investigation is underway. This case was taken under control.
