Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — One of the largest global food and grocery delivery services, Wolt, will soon begin its operations in Tashkent. The company announced this in its application.
"We are excited to introduce Wolt in Tashkent! Want to enjoy a delicious meal from your favorite local restaurant or urgently need groceries? We’ve got you covered! Our app is incredibly easy to use—you can browse various restaurants, place an order, and track it in real time until it’s delivered. We are also known for our fast delivery and high-quality service," the company stated.
Additionally, Wolt notes that its arrival in Tashkent will not only make life easier for local residents but also support local businesses.
Wolt was founded in Finland in 2014 and currently operates in 27 countries, including Kazakhstan.
In 2022, the company was acquired by American DoorDash for US$8.1 billion, marking one of the largest deals in the food tech sector.
