WHO reports an increase in the incidence of COVID-19

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over the week, the number of registered cases of COVID-19 increased by 3% to 6.9 million people.

The bulletin of the organization says that the main increase in the number of infected was recorded in the Western Pacific region. However, the incidence has declined markedly in Africa, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Americas.

Over the past seven days, most of the cases were detected in Japan - almost one and a half million. This is followed by the United States (759,806), the Republic of Korea (713,078), Vietnam (571,458) and Turkey (406,322).
