Western Union introduces new rate for remittances from Uzbekistan to China
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Western Union, a leader in global payments, launched new tariffs for sending remittances from Uzbekistan to China.

New tariffs for US dollar transactions have been introduced within the client-oriented business strategy and takes into account actively developing relations between Uzbekistan and China in trade, education and other sectors.

Dynamic development of relations between two states and regular inflow of workers and students is increasing demand for money transfer services in this direction. In this connection, Western Union decreased commission fee for transactions on Uzbekistan-China corridor. In particular, the company will charge US$50 for remittance over US$2,000.

Alexandru Badulescu, a regional vice-president of Western Union in Eastern Europe and CIS, said: the company has unique network of points, which includes 1,400 points in Uzbekistan and over 33,000 points in China, and this will allow clients to carry out remittances in where it is convenient for client. He said that new tariffs meet demands of clients, who send money to China.

Ulugbek Umarov, a regional director of Western Union in Central Asia and Azerbaijan, said: “We expect that introduction of new more attractive tariffs for “Uzbekistan-China” corridor will help to increase number of clients and growth of business relations between two states.
