WCO President visits State Customs Committee
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The World Customs Organization (WCO) Kunio Mikuriya paid an official visit to the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
The WCO chief met the officers of the Uzbekistan Customs service and shared with strategic goals and tasks of the organizations. He also awarded some employees of the committee with the WCO diplomas for exemplary work.
Kunio Mikuriya also paid a visit to the High Military Customs Institute and National Cynology Center of Uzbekistan, where he got acquainted with activities of these establishment.
The WCO chief underlined that National Cynology Center of Uzbekistan is regional center and educational center of the WCO. He added that this status was awarded by the WCO in 2008.
He expressed hope that the Center will continue its work on training of national and regional personnel.
