The volume of paid services, rendered to population in Uzbekistan, comprised 7.919 trillion soums, which is up 13.4% year-on-year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, share of services in gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan reached 49% in 2010.
The volume of trade and catering services in 2010 grew by 15.7% to 5.793 trillion soums, transport services – by 7.1% to 10.031 trillion soums, communication and information services – by 29% to 2.04 trillion soums.
The volume of rendered financial services made up 2.731 trillion soums (+22.6%), tourism- excursion services – 46.8 billion soums (+12.7%), hotel services – 96 billion soums (+9%).
The growth of domestic services comprised 21.8% to 551.4 billion soums, services on repairing automobiles and equipment – by 24.4% to 321.1 billion soums and others, including services of children rehabilitation and sport establishments, - by 20.5% to 6.348 trillion soums.
The volume of communal services decreased by 0.9% to 3.827 trillion soums in the reporting period, the committee said.
