Visegrad Four present their tourism potential in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A professional tourism Workshop of the countries of Visegrad Four – Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic – was held at International Hotel Tashkent on 22 November 2013.

The workshop was held under motto “Four countries – one melody, four countries – one visa”.

The event was organized by publishing house Turbiznes at the assistance of the Association of Private Tour Organization of Uzbekistan. It was attended by tourism administrations of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, tourism companies of Tashkent and mass media.

Director of office of Slovak tourism administration in Russia Lubica Alusicova said that the workshop is another event, organized by Visegrad Four in Tashkent. She said that after successful event last year, the decision was adopted to hold another event to establish new contacts with local tour agencies.

Representative of Hungary, Poland, Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, who represent tourism sector in Russia, participated at the event to present tourism potentials of their respective countries.

It was noted that the countries of Visegrad Four have similar cultural and historic heritage, as well as they are members of the Schengen zone. This helps to create combined tour and promote joint tours and attract tourists. Currently, the countries offer medical, mountain, gastronomy, as well as cultural and educational tours to the monuments of UNESCO.

During the workshop, the b2b meetings were held. Each visitor had chance to hold talks with representatives of Visegrad Four, receive information and answers to their questions. The tour to these countries is highly demanded among Uzbek people and local tour companies were interested in receiving more information about countries and their products.

Association of Private Tour Organization of Uzbekistan also held negotiations with the representatives of these countries to discuss development of cooperation and increasing tourism inflow among the countries.
