Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Visa Support Center for travel to Uzbekistan has opened in Lahore, Pakistan. The center was established through a collaboration between the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Meezab Group tourism company, Dunyo News Agency reports.
The center aims to simplify the visa application process for Pakistani citizens wishing to visit Uzbekistan and to enhance tourism exchanges between the two nations.
During the opening ceremony, Uzbekistan’s tourism offerings were showcased, including pilgrimage, gastronomic, medical, and MICE tourism opportunities.
Speaking online, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev highlighted the country’s tourism reforms and its growing appeal among international travelers.
Pakistani tour operators expressed significant interest in partnering with Uzbekistan, noting that the new center represents a vital step in strengthening bilateral relations.
