Managing director of Kerman outfit Hamid Niknafs told Fars news agency that the Brazilian coach requested for a time to mull over signing a contract with the club.
Farhad Kazemi, former coach of the club, resigned earlier this month and Mehdi Mohammadi has become temporary coach of the team henceforth.
Mes earlier failed to sign contract with former coach of the Iran’s national team Amir Ghalenoei as he is negotiating Uzbekistan champions Pakhtakor.
Vieira was named coach of Iraq national team less than two months ahead of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup finals and incredibly, he led his side to the title. Vieira immediately resigned, citing the unsettled nature of the Iraq soccer administration.
