The show will be held at the Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi within the framework of the Ballet Festival "Palette of Ballet", the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Independence of the State of Israel and the Days of Israel.
VERTIGO was founded by two Israeli choreographers - Noah Wertheim and Adi Shaal in Jerusalem in 1992. The first professional collaboration between Shaal and Wertheim was a small duet called Vertigo. After it, they both came up with the idea of creating their own company with the same name.
Under Vertigo Wertheim and Shaal understand the sense of the moment when a person loses control over something, both physiologically and in relations with people, phenomena or events of his life.
The company operates according to the European standards of modern dance. Themes of productions often become social problems. Dancers of the troupe, who came from different countries and have different choreographic experience, not only have a high technique of performance, but also introduce an intercultural nature into the essence of the productions.
In addition to the performance, Israeli choreographers and dancers will give master classes for the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi and at the Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan.
