Uzstandard holds educational course on ISO standards

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An educational course on international standards ISO 15189 “Medical laboratories — Particular requirements for quality and competence” and ISO/IEC 17043 “Conformity assessment — General. requirements for proficiency testing” was held in Tashkent on 12-14 March 2013.

The course was organized in line with the agreement on cooperation in accreditation, signed between Uzstandard Agency and China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment in 2010.

Chinese experts Zhay Peijun and He Ping conducted trainings, which was organized to assist Uzbekistan to introduce ISO 15189 and ISO/IEC 17043 standards in Uzbekistan, as well as exchange experience.

Specialists in accreditation, coordinators of labs, and other participated at the training course, Uzstandard said.
