In the reporting period, the exchange recorded 31 deals on realization of 1.5 million shares of nine issuers. All deals were recorded in the secondary market.
The average size of the exchange deals made up 14.5 million soums in August 2013 against 394.3 million soums in August 2012.
The size of average deal with the securities was 35.3 million soums in August 2013 compared to 1.607 billion soums in August 2012.
The average price of one share made up 311.8 soums in August 2013 against 351.2 soums in August 2012.
The largest deal of the month was recorded on 28 August at REPO section with shares of insurance company Kapital Sug’urta. Some 1.4 million shares of the company were realized for 197.6 million soums.
The analyses of the exchange showed that securities of banks and insurance companies were highly demanded among the investors in August 2013.
The share of this sector made up about 78.1% or 358 million soums, of which 35% or 160.4 million soums fell to share of banks and 43.1% or 197.6 million soums – insurance company. The investors also expressed interest in agro-industrial complex – 20.5% or 93.8 million soums.
