UZSE turnover exceeds 3.5bn soums in September

The exchange said that it recorded 42 deals with 22.1 million securities of 11 issues.

According to the UZSE, about 54% of deals of 1.9 billion soums were carried out in the IPO market in September and 46% or 1.6 billion soums – the secondary market.

The average size of the exchange deals in September reached 83.4 million soums against 146.9 million soums in September 2012.

The size of average daily volume of the deals with the securities made up 250.2 million soums (440.8 million in September 2012). The average price per share reached 158.5 soums (557.9 soums in September 2012).

The largest deal at the UZSE in September was recorded on 13 September at return REPO section of the exchange with the shares of Kapitalbank. Within the deal, 67,800 shares for 769.7 million soums were realized.

The analysis of the exchange deals showed that shares of banks attracted interest of the investors. About 99.2% of deals or 3.47 billion soums of the UZSE in September fell to share of the banking sector.
