The deals were registered in the secondary markets, in both national and hard currency platforms.

The average size of deal in the reporting period made up 4.59 million soums against 1.23 million soums in previous week. The highest ratio of price to par value was observed in construction materials sector (6.5).

The highest volume of turnover was observed in finance sector, which attained 77.9% of total turnover in the reporting period. During the reporting period, the deals were carried out with shares of enterprises in 8 regions of Uzbekistan.

Total turnover of the UzSE comprised 29.124 billion soums in 2009. Overall 4,291 deals with 63.845 million shares were recorded in 2009.

IPO market turnover comprised 6.4 billion soums (22.1% of total turnover) and the secondary market - 22.7 billion soums (77.9%).

Shares of enterprises in Tashkent city were popular among investors as 67.8% of all carried out deals or 19.767 billion soums fell to their share. Tashkent region and Kashkadarya region followed Tashkent city.
