The deals were registered in the IPO and the secondary markets, both in national and hard currency platforms.

The average size of deal in the reporting period made up 15.21 million soums against 4.27 million soums in previous week. The highest ratio of price to par value was observed in consumer goods production sector (4.4).

The highest volume of turnover was observed in finance sector, which attained 48.5% of total turnover in the reporting period. During the reporting period, the deals were carried out with shares of enterprises in 8 regions of Uzbekistan.

Total turnover of the UzSE comprised 28.243 billion soums in 2009. Overall 4,002 deals with 62.815 million shares were recorded in 2009.

IPO market turnover comprised 6.4 billion soums (22.7% of total turnover) and the secondary market - 21.8 billion soums (77.3%).

Shares of enterprises in Tashkent city were popular among investors as 69.3% of all carried out deals or 19.589 billion soums fell to their share. Tashkent region and Andijan region followed Tashkent city.
