Uzpromstroybank to pay dividends for 2011 and raise charter capital
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Open joint stock commercial bank Uzpromstroybank (Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank) will pay dividends for 2011.

The bank said it will pay 99 soums per ordinary share and 544.5 soums per preferential share with par value of 2,475 soums each, which makes up 4% and 22% APR respectively.

Total number of shares, on which dividends are paid, makes u 2 million preferential and 57,8 million ordinary stocks.

As reported earlier, Uzpromstroybank received net income for 22.603 billion soums in 2011.

The bank directed 6.811 billion soums to payment of dividends and 3.275 billion soums to formation of reserve fund. Shareholders allocated 75.2 million soums to remuneration of the board and supervisory council of the bank.

Shareholders also issued 12.038 billion soums to increasing charter capital of the bank. The charter capital will increase due to growth of nominal par value of shares.

The bank said that the par value of shares will increase from 2,475 soums to 2,785 soums. In the result, the charter capital will increase by 18.538 billion soums to 166.543 billion soums. The bank added that it will also direct part of net income of 2010 to increasing charter capital.

Uzpromstroybank was founded in 1922 and re-registered in 1991. Its main area of work is crediting enterprises of strategic sectors of industry. Main shareholders are Finance Ministry of Uzbekistan (35%) and Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (26%).
