Uzpromstroybank issues loans for 515bn soums to small businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint stock commercial bank Uzpromstroybank issued 515 billions oums of loans to 2,725 small businesses in nine months of 2014, which rose 1.3 times year-on-year.

The bank issued 51 billion soums to private entrepreneurs, 32 billion soums to businesswomen, 46 billion soums to service sector.

The loans helped to create over 8,000 new jobs, according to the press service of the Uzbek bank.
