Uzmetkombinat receives certificate OHSAS 18001:2007

The requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007 are applicable to any organization that wants to develop a system of management of safety and health protection to eliminate or minimize risks to personnel and other interested parties, who may be exposed to hazards associated with ongoing activities of the organization, to minimize the risk of accidents and emergency situations, etc.

Uzmetkombinat is the only company in the steel industry of Central Asia. The plant is a basic industry and closely cooperates with all other industries, so the development of the steel industry in Uzbekistan is a national priority of current stage of economic development.
