According to members of the UzLiDeP, the concept of further deepening democratic reforms and forming civil society, proposed by the Uzbek President, opens new page in history of development of independent country. At the same time, the main task is to strengthen parliamentarism and improve role of political parties in reforming the country.

In this context, the law “On introduction of changes and amendments to articles 78, 80, 93, 96 and 98 of the Constitution of Uzbekistan”, initiated by the Uzbek President Islam Karimov, will ensure balanced allocation of authority among three powers – President, Legislative and Executive powers. This is new stage of modernization of political system, reforms and democratization of the country, the party said.

MP A.Tashkulov said that it is necessary to set new requirements to cadres of the party, so they can create team, which will be implement party tasks in cooperation with the Prime Minister in executive power level.

He said that the party should have concrete action plan – firmly developed programme of social-economic development of Uzbekistan. MP noted that it is necessary to determine the programme of the government now and determine tasks and executors.
