As earlier reported, Hamidila Shermatov was appointed as the chairman of the Directors Board of Uzkimyosanoat in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 29 August 2010.
Prior to appointment, Hamidila Shermatov worked as deputy chairperson of the Directors Board of Uzkimyosanoat. He replaced at this post Gulomjon Ibragimov, who was appointed as deputy prime minister and head of complex on geology, fuel-energy, chemistry, oil-chemical and metallurgy industries.
Hamidila Shermatov was born in 1959 in Chirchiq city (Tashkent region of Uzbekistan). He graduated Tashkent Polytechnic Institute in 1984 and received master degree at Academy of the State and Public Construction under the President of Uzbekistan. Since 1999, he has been working in various positions at Uzkimyosanoat.
