UZEX: Sales of technical oil grow by 40%

Some 13,400 tonnes of technical oils were realized at the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) in 4.5 months of 2013, which rose by 40% year-on-year. Such dynamics is observed at technical oil market for last four years.
The UZEX said that sales of almost all groups of technical oils increased this year. If offer of industrial oil decreased, offer of motor oil increased twice.
At the same time, their share in the market fell up to 84%. Decrease of the share of industrial and motor oils at the exchange is connected with growth of offer of turbine and SAE-140 oils, total sales of which made up 1,100 tonnes.
Despite significant growth of the volume and assortment of technical oils, structure of sellers did not change. Navoi oil base leads with 20% market share. This year, the company focuses on motor oils, which accounted 50% of total offers of Navoi oil base or 1,300 tonnes.
