Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- General Director of the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange (UzCE) Rashid Usmanov held a meeting with representatives of Bloomberg.

Bloomberg was represented at the meeting by Odil Kasimov, Head of Sales of Electronic Trading Solutions, and Janan Khan, Customer Service Specialist for Electronic Trading Solutions.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of key issues of mutual interest, including:

- interaction on issues of transferring the UzRVB market date to external users through the Bloomberg platform;
- use of Bloomberg software solutions in various exchange markets;
- functionality of trading systems in the segment of fixed income instruments and repo transactions.

The sides also discussed issues of exchanging experience in the field of improving the trading and clearing software complex, conducting training programs for UzCE specialists on the use of Bloomberg products and services. It was noted that this is intended to help improve the qualifications of personnel and expand the range of services provided in the exchange markets of Uzbekistan.

In general, the meeting of representatives of the UzCE with the Bloomberg delegation opens up new prospects for the development of the financial sector of Uzbekistan. Cooperation between the two organizations contributes to modernizing the infrastructure of the country's capital market, increasing its competitiveness and attractiveness at the global level and attracting foreign investors.
