The Center for coordination and control over functioning of securities market under the State Property of Uzbekistan registered a prospectus of emission of national telecommunication operator.

In line with the prospectus of emission, the company will place 32,694,633 ordinary and preferred shares with par value of 1,154 soums each.

In particular, Uzbektelecom will place 31,579,649 ordinary and 1,114,984 preferred stocks. Total sum of the issue is 37.73 billion soums.

The shares of the issue will be placed on closed subscription among shareholders through replacement of old shares with par value of 1,000 soums to new shares with nominal value of 1,154 soums.

The company said that the part of the issue for 32.694 billion soums were paid on par value and other part for 5.025 billion soums will be paid due to net income for 2008-2010.
