It was organized by the State Committee for Communication, Information and Telecommunication Technologies in cooperation with NEC (Japan).

Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan is developing in many spheres, including in ICT sector. On 15 January 2014, Uzbekistan and Japan signed a memorandum of cooperation in ICT sector, which will help to expand scale of cooperation in the sphere, the committee said.

It is worth to mention that NEC plays key role in developing digital telecommunication network, digital television and data transfer in Uzbekistan. NEC co-organizes various trainings and seminars for specialists from Uzbekistan.

The current seminar was developed to new technologies of NEC, designed for transport networks of telecommunication operators. The representatives of NEC shared information on advantages of new solutions.

The seminar was organized in online regime, which helped to attract over 150 specialists from all regions of Uzbekistan.
