The sides considered issues of establishing cooperation in telecommunication on inter-operator interaction, introduction new communication services, as well as organization of transit to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbektelecom chief informed the Russian delegation on priority directions of the company and the programme on improvement of the company’s telecommunication infrastructure. He said that the construction of international communication lines to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan was constructed. He said optic fiber line was laid and necessary equipments were installed.

Soloduhin said MegaFon is working on improvement of communication services, including long-distance calls. He said that cooperation between two organizations will be fruitful.
